This New Year brings us amazing opportunities for new missions. We are very happy to see step-by-step the opportunities for our mission work, and continue to grow as new doors open to us.

Pilgrimage to Medjugorje for Doctors

This year our mission will begin with a pilgrimage for obstetrics and gynecological doctors to Medjugorje, Bosnia-Herzegovina. Last year, the pilgrimage, attended by 45 doctors, was brought to the attention of people from different countries that are now willing to help, specifically and strictly, with this pilgrimage project “Celebration of Life”. Several people (they prefer to remain anonymous) opened their hearts to continue to sponsor the doctors and help them come closer to Our Heavenly Father through the intercession of Our Lady. They were touched by the work we began in Ukraine. In this way, they have desired to help support these pilgrimages by paying 100% of the costs to bring the doctors to Medjugorje.

This spiritual pilgrimage will be an incredible opportunity for the doctors to encounter Christ in a new way. They will stay in Medjugorje from March 20-27. The doctors will participate in a retreat prepared for them by Genay Samborska, president of the Pro-Life Mission in Ukraine. We pray their hearts will be touched through the love of Our Lady. Our only motive is to help them re-evaluate their profession and the gifts they have. It is remarkable how open and happy they are to participate. There will be doctors from different cities on the pilgrimage. Please pray with us that, through this pilgrimage, many graces may come to their hearts and that they will be able to accept them.

St. Michael the Archangel Hospice Center – This hospice center, located in Zaporozhye, was brought to our attention by the local Auxiliary Bishop, Jan Sobilo. The hospice cares for the homeless and abandoned who are dying, and receives minimum financial assistance from the government. Our mission is to bring relief to these suffering people by helping them with adequate housing and necessary medical equipment and supplies. We continue to renovate the hospice and provide the necessary education to the caregivers, to meet the needs of the suffering with gentleness, love and care. We also provide spiritual assistance to all who live at the hospice.

Natural Family Planning Education– We continue providing education of these natural methods, approved by the Catholic Church, to help couples who have difficulty conceiving; and to educate those who wish to abstain from conception because of health or other acceptable reasons.

  • One seminar cost $350

Home for Mothers in Need– We are praying and trusting in God’s providence to build a home for women who are considering abortion, due to pressure from their husband or relatives, or those in desperate need and life threatening situations. This home will be a peaceful place, where women and their children can feel safe from domestic abuse, receive necessary care and start a new life.

  • The home will cost approximately $150,000 - $200,000

Miracle of Life TV screens- We currently have 17 TV screens installed in waiting rooms at women’s clinics and birthing hospitals throughout Ukraine, which show different educational movies about the miracle of life. We are hoping to continue our work of bringing awareness of the life of a child in the womb. To help families see the truth of what is happening when a child is growing in the womb day-by-day. Many hospitals will allow us to hang TV screens in their buildings that will show the movie “A Miracle of Life”. This is a miracle in itself! Doctors cry with tears after seeing different ultrasonic videos. Their exact words were, “Thank you for coming. Please help us. We don’t want to do this (abortions) anymore. Help us to educate women about the life in their womb. You will come back right?”

We ask you to help us continue this mission while it is still possible. Imagine how important this is; hundreds and thousands of women and men will be helped. Because, when they come to the hospital or clinic, they will receive accurate information and will not be blind anymore.

  • One TV monitor and installation costs $300
